Alonzo Hicks, born in the small town of Rusk, Texas on November 21, 1932, to Lulabell Brown and Joe Hicks. On December 16, 2024, Alonzo Hicks gained his heavenly wings and reunited with his wife Laura Mae Hicks, children; Shirley Mitchell, Charlene Mitchell and Johnny Rae Hicks.
Alonzo passed a beautiful personality and was well liked by all that knew him. His stories live in our hearts, passed down like precious heirlooms, reminding us of who we are and what truly matters in life.
Alonzo was that father of Johnny Ray Hicks, Shirley Mitchell, Charlene Mitchell, Bobby Joe (Marie) Hicks, Thomas (Shenitta) Hicks, and Christine Hicks all residing in Rusk, Texas.
Alonzo leaves to cherish his memories; four loving children and twenty-one grandchildren along with 40 great grandchildren. He leaves a very special friend, Trudy Faye Cook and a host of family and friends.
