Geromy Jerome Shedd, was born on August 21, 1986 in Rusk, Texas, to the late Tommy Lee Shedd and Ethel Mae Overstreet. On January 4, 2025, Geromy transitioned from this walk of life in Lufkin, Texas.
Geromy attended Rusk Independent School District. He was known for his strong work ethic and was employed by Pilgrim Pride until his passing.
Geromy was a devoted father whose greatest pride and joy were his daughters, Cameryn Lee Ann Shedd and his unborn daughter, Journey Shedd. He shared a special bond with Erneisha Garrett, who supported him throughout his endeavors.
He brought joy and laughter to those around him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he met. An enthusiastic fisherman, he cherished weekends spent by the water, where he could relax and enjoy the tranquility of nature. Geromy had an eclectic taste in music, finding joy in R&B, rap, and old-school tunes that resonated with his soul. He was also a devoted fan of the Minnesota Vikings, passionately supporting his team through thick and thin.
He will be remembered fondly for his caring nature and the love he shared with his family and friends. Geromy's legacy will live on through his children and the memories he created with those who loved him.
Preceding Geromy in death are both parents.
Survivors include sisters, April Shedd (Brodris Mathews) of Lufkin, Texas, Joyce Shedd of Rusk, Texas, several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends.
