Jimmy Ray Shanks, born on July 6, 1974, in Jacksonville, Texas, passed away on October 10, 2024, in Crockett, Texas. He was known for his vibrant personality and love for family gatherings, always finding joy in spending time with loved ones.
Jimmy is survived by his devoted partner, Shatina Harris, and his cherished daughter, Victoria Shanks. He also leaves behind his mother, Minnie L. Mitchell of Crockett, Tx and siblings: Melissa (Fred) Lucas of Greenville, Texas; Sandra Gifford of Crockett, Texas; LaSha Richardson of Dallas, Texas; and Billy Joe (Yolanda Womack) Shanks of Jacksonville, Texas and a host of family and friends.
A passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys and a devoted listener of R. Kelly, Jimmy embraced life with enthusiasm and had a special way of bringing happiness to those around him. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Jimmy is proceed in death by his father, Jimmy Lee Richardson.
