Annie Lee Stafford was born on July 4, 1952 to the late Annie Bell and Albert Anders in Nacogdoches Tx.
She attended school at the Churchill Community School and later Fred Douglass High School. She worked and retired from Cardinal Health after 25+ years of service.
Family was everything in the world to her especially her children, Sandra, Lonnie, Natter, & Shacara. In 1991 she met the love of her life, the late Harold Stafford and to this union Annie gained 3 stepchildren.
Annie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, & aunt. She transitioned from this life on November 11, 2024, in Tyler, Tx.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold Stafford; brothers, JD, Dywayne, Ray, Paul, & Lonnie; sister, Elmira Mallard; & other relatives.
She leaves to cherish her beautiful memory; one son Lonnie (Deeya) Landon ; 3 daughters, Sandra Landon, Natter Landon, and Shacara (Curtis) Johnson; 7 grandchildren, Audreanna Landon, Lakeeya Taylor, Shavesia Macon, Londedric Taylor, Curtis Landon, JaShun Robinson, & Centaurus Landon; 15 great-grandchildren; two sisters, Johnny Fay (Marcus) Washington & Gwen Nell (Norris) Montgomery; stepchildren, Angela Stafford, Harold L. Stafford, & Barrick (Tracy) Stafford; 13 step-grandchildren & 5 step-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law Murvin Stafford; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, & a plethora of friends.
Annie loved spending time with her family as much as she could and when she wasn’t somewhere fishing you could always count on her to be at any family event. She was a faithful Dallas Cowboys fan and would not miss watching a game. She was small in stature, but she was a giant in her family. Her presence will truly be missed.
