Patricia Ann Parson-Rivers was born on July 14,1968 to Johnny Fay and the late DB Parsons in Jacksonville, Texas. This beautiful life ended on October 29, 2024, and she entered into “Eternal Rest”.
Patricia attended and graduated from Jacksonville ISD. Patricia Ann as everyone knew her, loved to be around people and worked most of her time in healthcare.
Patricia is survived by her husband, Anthony Rivers of Jacksonville, Tx, mother and stepfather Johnny Fay (Marcus) Washington of Chapel Hill, Tx; two sons, Chris and Adelbert Parson of Florida; daughter, Deanna (J.B.) Brooks of Jacksonville Tx; five grandchildren, Jerry Lynn Brooks III, Jerslynn La’Shae Brooks, Aja’Riah Tra’Shaye Broussard of Jacksonville Tx, Krystal Lashae Parson, and Ja’Kaylon Parson of Chapel Hill; Brothers, DB (Ulaya) Parsons of Tyler, Tx and Nickholas Parson of Chapel Hill Tx; four aunts, Annie L. Stafford of Jacksonville Tx, Gwen (Norris) Montgomery of Troup Tx, Sandra Gail Rollins of Austin Tx, and Henrietta Johnson of Tyler, Tx; two uncles, Dewitt Parsons Jr and Willie Parson of Dallas Tx; nieces, and a host of cousins and other relatives.
Patricia enjoyed spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Princess. Patricia was known as “Gigi” to her grandkids. She loved spending time with them. Each of her grandchildren held a special place in her heart. She had a bright and energetic personality and was known as “the life of the party”. She touched many lives and will be remembered for her infectious laughter.
