Patricia Jean Nelson, born July 9, 1952, in Jacksonville, Texas to the late LaSalle Attaway and Shirley Louise Lane.
She attended Fred Douglas High School, Jacksonville, IX.
After high school, Patrica was a hard worker and worked for Tyler Morning Telegraph until her health failed.
Although she didn't consider herself a singer, she loved to sing.
Patricia was a member of Greater New Zion Baptist Church, Jacksonville, TX for many years and later became a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church, Flint, TX.
She was the mother of two boys; Franklin I. Casel, Billy T. Casel Sr. three girls: Delicia Hope Canady, Amanda Holly Nelson, and Rhonda Alynn Hudson.
She was preceded in by her loving parents, 3 brothers, one daughter, Delicia Hope Canady.
Patricia leaves to cherish her memories, her sons Franklin T.Casel and Billy I. Casel (Michelle); daughters, Amanda Holly Nelson (Arthur) and Rhonda Alynn Hudson; Sisters; Shari Lane, Beverly Booker (Haskell Cooper); grandchildren; Marcellus M Jourdan, Billy I. Casel, Jr., Laila L. Casel, Mya L. Casel, KellyM. Casel, Hope R. Casel, Mykayla Wideman, Delicia Hudson, Felix Hudson, and Amar Hudson; along with a host of nieces, nephews and family members.
