Robert "RB" Overstreet was born on July 16, 1962, in Rusk, Texas, to Lawrence and Bessie Overstreet. He passed away on December 2, 2024, in his beloved hometown of Rusk.
Robert, better known as "RB," attended G.W. Bradford High School. RB worked for Brookshire’s for several years and was known for his unwavering dedication and hard work within the community. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need, embodying the spirit of service and generosity. Above all, RB loved his family dearly and cherished the moments spent with them.
He leaves behind cherished memories with his sister, Bobbie Overstreet, and brothers Arthur (Lisa) Overstreet, Elvin Overstreet, Jimmy Lee Overstreet, and an uncle Willie (Melba Joyce) Bradley all of Rusk, Texas, along with a host of family and friends who will remember him fondly. RB is preceded in death by both parents, as well as three sisters and one brother.
RB’s kindness and commitment to his community will be deeply missed.
