Velma Lee Jones 81, of Jacksonville, Tx transitioned from this walk of life on Sunday, July 28,2024.
Velma was born in Jacksonville, Tx to the late L.C. and Velma Buckner Jones.
At an early age, Velma placed membership with North Bolton Christian church where she was a member until her passing.
Velma received her education from Fred Douglass High School. After high school, Velma was employed by S&K Furniture for many years.
She would later have 2 sons, Bobby Earl Jones and Darren T. Jones.
Though she loved her Dallas Cowboys and WWE Wrestling, her greatest love was for her family.
Velma was preceded in death by parents L.C. and Velma Jones, son Darren T. Jones, brothers Horace Jones, Lincoln C. Jones, James A. Jones, Claude M. Jones and John E. Jones; two sisters, Lois M. Jones, Ruby J. Jones, and one niece, Casandra A. Jones.
Left to cherish her memories, she leaves: her son, Bobby Earl (Brenda) Jones, Jacksonville, Tx, Daughter in law, Rhonda Jones, Jacksonville, Tx, Sister, Viola (Romeo) Bagley, of Jacksonville Tx. 5 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 5 great-great-grandchildren, and a host of family and friends.
