Sister Story served under several pastors, including Rev. J. A. Stewart, Supt. L.J. Manning, Rev. Alford Garrett and Rev. L.M. Story, She assisted in what was necessary for her as a pastor’s wife, her time, her talent, musical melodies was just wonderful. She was dedicated to the service of the Lord.
Not only did she have talent, she enjoyed singing and praising the Lord. At one time she was asked to record and make records but her answer was “I just enjoy singing for the Lord”.
She played for the joint-meeting, District Meeting. Her favorite place was at that piano, making melody for the Lord. For over seventy years and longer at one church is a blessing, To God Be The Glory.
