Virginia Margaret Gorko Rayson was born on March 21, 1981, in Kingston, Pennsylvania, to Stephen A. Gorko and Antoinette Monczka Gorko. Virginia went to be with Jesus on January 11, 2025. She was a resident of Rusk, TX, where she embraced the joys of country life. Virginia was a 1999 graduate of Tunkhannonk Area HS. After graduation, Virigina earned her associate's degree from Trinity Valley Community College.
Virginia was married to Twan Rayson, and together, they nurtured a loving family. She is survived by her three children, Savannah Richardson, Adalia and Damien Rayson, and her bonus children, Twanakeith Rayson,Jr, DeAnna Rayson, Tyrell Rayson, and Tristen Rayson. Virginia’s warmth and infectious smile left a lasting impression on all who knew her.
A devoted daughter, she is also survived by her mother, Antoinette Gorko, brothers, Timothy and Christopher Gorko, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Virginia was known for her free-spirited personality and her willingness to help. Virginia enjoyed being involved in the Rusk ISD PTO and was a member of the Branded by Christ Cowboy Church family.
